Im Gegensatz zu allen anderen konnte die britische Armee mit dem teutonischen Teufel Carinthia einfach keinen Schlafsack-Deal abschließen. Also machten sie das Nächstbeste: Sie kopierten den Tropical Schlafsack und den Defence 4 Schlafsack und nannten es das Modular Sleeping Bag System. Dies ist die Einlage für den dickeren, mittleren Schlafsack.

Der Schlafsack ist fast eine direkte Kopie des Carinthia-Schlafsackfutters. Die auffälligsten Unterschiede sind die grünere Farbe und die leicht unterschiedlichen Kordelzugpunkte.

Passt direkt in den mittleren oder „Defence 4“ Schlafsack der britischen Armee. Natürlich kann die Platzierung der Kordelzüge auch geändert werden, sodass er in andere Modelle passt. Die Kordelzüge ähneln tatsächlich den Carinthia-Plattentaschen ziemlich stark.

Zustand

Vor der Ausmusterung verwendet und gewaschen. Offenbar werden diese von FECSA, einem spanischen Unternehmen, hergestellt, das zumindest auch Schlafsäcke für die niederländische Armee produzierte.
