How It Assembles (3 Sections)

The glass slides into the walls and roof tracks for a secure fit, while still allowing the gentle airflow that makes Wardian Cases so versatile.

This tall, freestanding profile is beautiful with orchids, ivies, holiday poinsettias, fall flowers, or spring bulbs. Use it as a living sculpture in an entryway, dining room corner, living room, or any space that needs height and character.

Terrarium FAQ
Is this a sealed terrarium?
No—this is a Wardian Case where the glass slides into the metal frame. A slight space between glass and metal provides natural ventilation.
How do I access the plants for watering and pruning?
You can lift off the roof or remove the entire house section for easy access.
Does it require assembly?
Yes. The unit arrives in three pieces (table, house, roof). Assembly involves sliding the glass into place and stacking the sections.
What kinds of plants work best in a ventilated Wardian Case?
Because it’s not sealed, you can style a wider variety of plants—try orchids, ivy, and seasonal displays like poinsettias, spring bulbs, or mixed foliage.
Where should I place it in my home?
Place it where it can be enjoyed as a focal point—entryways, living rooms, dining areas, or a bright space with indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun that can overheat glass displays.
How often should I ventilate it?
This design already breathes due to the glass-and-frame fit. If your planting feels too humid, simply remove the roof for a short time to increase airflow.
What’s included?
This listing is for the Wardian Case terrarium only. Plants and décor props are not included.
