A good start to a new Superman story
Format: Kindle
From this first issue, I like that Supermanβs origin story is different from what we know. Although Kalβs parents are of the lower class, JorEl is still the one who seems to know about Kryptonβs impending doom.
It caught me off guard that Lois isnβt a reporter but part of this Lazarus Military. This kinda makes sense because sheβs a military brat and her father is a General.
This story is pretty cool so far. I donβt mind change as long as the story makes sense and the core of the characters are still intact.
So far I have, I have no idea what to expect, but itβs getting good. Canβt wait for the next issue. Btw, Supermanβs new suit looks dope!

Absolutely the best Superman!

This is a great story, and re-imagining of Superman. I am so excited to read this awesome book, Superman has always held a special place in my heart, and I can't tell you how great this retelling is. I was intrigued when he was rebooted as part of the New 52, but for Absolute Superman... Let's just say that I am All In!!!

Absolutely super
Format: Kindle
Another great story set in the new Absolute Universe. I'm glad that we're getting new versions of the classic DC icons and not yet another rehashing of the same old origins. The differences in Kal-Els powers and his past are very interesting. I can't wait to see exactly what they are. This is the first DC work from Jason Aaron that I've ever read and I hope he writes this series for a good long time.
