Fast EU shipping | Grown with love in the EU | Pet-safe (mildly toxic if ingested — keep out of reach)
Summary: With its pale silvery-green, nearly white upright leaves, this Sansevieria ‘Moonshine’ brings Scandinavian simplicity and modern elegance to German apartments and tranquil European interiors.
✨ Why You’ll Love It
- Striking silver-hued foliage creates a refined, minimalist look—perfect for Japandi and Scandi home styles
- Large size (~40 cm tall in P14 pot) makes a stylish statement without dominating space
- Ultra low-maintenance—ideal for urban dwellers and beginners alike
- Purifies indoor air gently—enhancing bedroom or office environments
🌞 Light & Placement
Thrives in bright indirect light, but tolerates lower light—suited to north-facing windows or softly lit rooms. Protect from harsh direct sunlight to maintain silvery leaves.
💧 Water & Humidity
Water sparingly—let soil dry thoroughly between waterings, typically every 3–4 weeks in moderate indoor conditions. No special humidity requirements.
🪴 Soil & Potting
Plant in a free-draining cactus/succulent mix. Repot every 2–3 years to a slightly larger pot (~2 cm) to support gradual growth.
🐾 Toxicity & Safety
Contains mild toxins—keep out of reach of children and pets. Safe to display on higher shelves or corners for extra peace of mind.
🌱 Growth & Propagation
Slow to moderate grower—adds new upright shoots over time. Easily propagated by dividing rhizomes during repotting to create new plantlets.
📆 Seasonal & Special Care
In winter (October–March), reduce watering and maintain indoor temps above 12 °C. Move away from cold drafts to avoid leaf droop.
🐛 Common Issues
- Soft or yellow leaves? Usually due to overwatering—cut back water and ensure soil drains well.
- Browning tips? Might indicate underwatering or dry air—check watering regime.
- Pests like mealybugs occasionally appear—wipe leaves and treat early with neem oil or mild soap spray.
🧬 Botanical Background
Often called *Dracaena trifasciata 'Moonshine'*, this cultivar is celebrated for its pale, shimmering foliage—a modern twist on the classic snake plant originating from West Africa.
