If you need the definitive Indoor Jungle looks, for tropical good feeling vibes, then consider adding the floor-standing Wild Banana.

This proudly South African plant has captured the imagination of indoor plant lovers the world over. It's loved for its full, evergreen foliage that fans out into a triumphant display of green.

In its natural environment, the Strelitzia Nicolai will grow into large, clustered trees that are 12meters high and up to 4 meters across. Potted in your home, you can expect this house plant to continue generating new leaves from the centre of its stem outwards. Water thoroughly, and let the plant dry out a little in between.

Find a nice brightly lit spot in your home - possibly a bright corner of a room - where the Wild Banana will hold court beautifully.

Please Note: Strelitzias are toxic to humans and animals, especially the flowers and seeds. Please do not consume. Keep out of reach of animals and children,

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to keep your Wild Banana healthy and happy.

  • Water: During the summer months, the Strelitzia will need regular watering to keep the soil moist. During winter and autumn, water less allowing the soil to almost dry out before the next water. Careful not to let the soil be waterlogged.
  • Light: Plenty of bright light. Our variety is "soft grown" in a greenhouse, so harsh, direct sunlight won't be tolerated. Some softer direct morning sun will be fine. Too little light and the Wild Banana won't be happy.
  • Humidity: Normal room humidity will be fine.
  • Fertilize: Feed twice a month during the growing period (Spring-Summer) cutting back during its dormancy (colder season).

Love it!!!
Format: Kindle
Another great book by this author. It is full of love, growth and has spice. I like the concept of the story and how the issues was solved. I felt the bond and love between the MCs from the start. I will definitely read this book again.

🙌 body diversity 🙌
Format: Kindle
Body diversity for the win in this new twist on a classic vampire x human trope! A Rose For The Taking explores the arranged marriage between an under-appreciated “spinster” and a vampire magistrate stuck in her own grief. Beyond the budding romance, we are also given a piercing look into the struggle of vampire/human politics including classism, worker exploitation and policy reform. The spice was sparingly scattered throughout the book and was unfortunately almost exclusively one-sided…which continues to be my biggest pet peeve in these books. Overall, the steamy bits were effective and blended well into the storyline. No kink, mostly open door. Additionally, Trapp lovingly incorporates a realistically proportioned FMC, the grief of losing a spouse and the familial trauma of being tolerated only for what you bring to the table. Solid read and it definitely got me adding more of Trapp’s body of work to my TBR!

It was a good read.
Format: Kindle
While I did enjoy the book, it moved a little fast with little plot development. Rose started strong and then she seemed to get weaker and weaker throughout. Even the parts where she found her back bone didn’t compare to her initial anger towards her family. Lena was a good character. A little huffier than I liked but overall well rounded. Overall, I enjoyed the book, it just wasn’t my favorite.
