Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food is an exceptional fertilizer that will super charge your soil, giving all your plants a significant boost. Made with lobster and crab shell meal, fish meal, kelp meal, worm castings, and so naturally contains a range of macro & micro-nutrients as well as high levels of calcium.
Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food works excellent in containers, vegetable gardens, and flower beds. It's also great for replenishing soil between grows in your raised bed!
INGREDIENTS: Fish meal, earthworm castings, alfalfa meal, feather meal, crab and lobster meal, potassium sulfate, kelp meal, magnesium sulfate. Contains 4% calcium, 1% magnesium, and 2% sulfur.
USAGE: 1lb = 3 cups.
Containers: Incorporate 1 teaspoon per 6″ diameter of container or 1 tablespoon per square foot of soil.
Preparing outdoor beds and gardens: Mix 1lb of plant food per cubic foot of compost. Apply at a rate of 1cf compost mix per 5 sq. ft. of garden in either the early spring or late fall. Work into the soil to a depth of 3 inches and water thoroughly.
Top-dressing: Combine 1lb of plant food and 1cf of compost per 10 sq. ft. of garden as early in the season as possible or apply at the same rate of 1lb per 10 sq. ft. directly to garden beds. Apply again in mid-season if needed.
