Fireball Bee Balm (Monarda 'Fireball')

Fireball Bee Balm (Monarda 'Fireball') is a compact, summer-blooming perennial that delivers bold red flower clusters and nonstop pollinator activity in a tidy, border-friendly form. Its dense, mounded habit stays neat, making it easy to place near the front of sunny beds, along paths, and in smaller gardens where you want intense color without the height and spread of older bee balms. When it blooms, the tufted flowers create a lively, textured display that draws bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds into the garden. With aromatic foliage and strong seasonal presence, Fireball Bee Balm makes an excellent focal point in summer plantings where you want a concentrated burst of red and plenty of garden movement.

Distinctive Features

The standout feature is the saturated red bloom color paired with a compact habit, giving you classic bee balm firework flowers in a space-friendly size. The flowers sit above dense foliage and read clearly from a distance, adding a strong, energetic note to summer borders. Foliage is aromatic when brushed, bringing a sensory element to beds near walkways and patios. With good sun, consistent moisture, and airflow, Fireball holds its shape well through the bloom window and keeps the planting looking full and vibrant.

Growing Conditions

  • Sun: Full sun to part shade; best flowering in full sun.
  • Soil: Moist, well-drained soil with good organic matter; adaptable but performs best with consistent moisture.
  • Water: Moderate; water during dry spells, especially in the first season and during bloom.
  • USDA Hardiness Zones: 4 to 9.
  • Habit: Compact, mounded perennial with upright flowering stems.
  • Mature Size: About 12 to 18 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide.

Ideal Uses

  • Focal Point: Use in small drifts where the red blooms can anchor summer color and draw the eye.
  • Pollinator Gardens: A strong nectar source for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds in sunny plantings.
  • Front of Border: Compact size keeps flowers visible without blocking plants behind it.
  • Pathside and Patio Planting: Place where the fragrance and bloom texture can be enjoyed up close.
  • High-Contrast Color Schemes: Pair with purples, blues, and silvery foliage for a sharp summer palette.

Low Maintenance Care

  • Watering: Keep evenly moist during establishment; water during drought for best flowering and foliage quality.
  • Mulching: Apply a light mulch layer to conserve moisture, keeping mulch off the crown.
  • Deadheading: Remove spent blooms to encourage continued flowering and keep the plant looking tidy.
  • Airflow: Space plants to allow good air movement and reduce foliage issues in humid weather.
  • Cutback: Cut back stems after flowering or in late fall to refresh the clump for next season.
  • Division: Divide every few years if clumps become crowded to maintain vigor and bloom density.

Why Choose Fireball Bee Balm?

  • Bold Red Blooms: Delivers strong summer color with classic bee balm texture.
  • Compact, Tidy Habit: Big impact in a size that fits smaller gardens and tight borders.
  • Pollinator Magnet: Attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds for constant garden movement.
  • Aromatic Foliage: Adds scent and sensory appeal along paths and patio spaces.
  • Easy Focal Point Value: Brings high-impact color and garden energy with straightforward care.

If you want a compact bee balm with bold red blooms and nonstop pollinator activity, Fireball Bee Balm delivers summer focal point color and lively garden movement in a space-friendly form.

This is not good heat tape.
Number of Items: 2
I bought this for sublimation and t-shirt making and because you get a lot for a decent price. Well, just spend the money on the good golden tape because this stuff doesn't hold up like that. I had a few cups ruined because the tape released while in the oven. Not cool at all. I don't have a LLC to buy cups in bulk, so it wasn't 1 or 2 bucks this take ruined. So be aware that this tape is poop before using.

I recently purchased the MEBMIK 6 Rolls 20mm x 33m (108ft) Blue Heat Tape High Temperature Heat Resistant Tape for Heat Sublimation Press Vinyl, and I couldn't be more satisfied. This tape has truly exceeded my expectations. One of the standout features is that it doesn't leave any marks or residue behind, which is crucial for a clean, professional finish. It holds up well under high temperatures, making it perfect for heat sublimation and vinyl projects. The tape is durable and reliable, ensuring my projects come out looking great every time. Overall, I highly recommend this heat tape for anyone involved in heat transfer or sublimation projects. It's an excellent product that performs exactly as promised.

Works well and easy to use for sublimation
Number of Items: 6
I’ve been using this heat tape for a few different sublimation projects—mugs, shirts, and a couple of random DIY gifts. It holds up great under heat. No slipping, no weird residue left behind on my blanks, and it peels off cleanly every time. The stickiness is just right—not so strong that it’s a pain to remove, but strong enough to keep designs in place while pressing. I also like that you get several rolls in the pack, which makes it a great value for the price. It’s easy to work with and cuts cleanly, which is helpful when you’re lining up small designs. Overall, this has made my sublimation process a lot smoother.

Great for patch hat pressing, no discoloring or marking during transfer
Number of Items: 6
Bought to hold my leather patches down while pressing them to hats, and they work great. They have not left any residue or discoloring when pressing hats, even with white patches. Very happy with how these perform and would recommend to others who make patch hats.
