Please note: these are large plants and may need to be trimmed/have leaves removed to fit into box for postage. New leaves will be fast to grow.
Current Pot Size: 155mm
Origin:
Synonyms: Elephant Ear Plant
Light: Full Shade - Category 3-4 (please see our blog on plant light requirements)
Soil: Well draining, moisture retaining - Indoor mix (please see our blog on soil requirements)
Fertiliser: As directed on your fertiliser of choice. Fortnightly or monthly during the growing season (please see our blog on plant food)
Watering: Don't over water, they like to dry out between waterings.
Maintenance: Can be prone to spider mite so keep the leaves clean, we reccomend Dr Greenthumbs Greenspace Reset as a preventative. Keep warm over winter to slow down/stop dormancy. If they experience temperatures of less than 15 Degrees Celsius consistently they will go dormant in which watering should be kept to a minimum (about once a month) until new growth emerges in Spring.
