Great root system, aerials, well variegated stem, and active growth. This guy is larger (34" w x 29" h) with some large 15"+ leaves. Like with all aureas, you want to give the newest leaves quite a bit of time to develop their color before you judge it. But it does look like the newest leaf will also be incredibly well variegated!

Like with all aureas, you want to give the newest leaves quite a bit of time to develop their color before you judge it. But it does look like the newest leaf will also be incredibly well-variegated! 

***NOTES:*** There's some debate about calling them 'tricolors,' but if you remember the old-school aureas, this coloration isn't the same. We're going with 'tricolor' for simplicity's sake. There's a tiny bit of (old) import damage, but he's ready to find his forever home - even if I'm not!
