In the Philippines, it is known as “Malunggay,” and is a common ingredient in local cuisine. In Indonesia, it is referred to as “Kelor,” while Swahili-speaking regions in Africa call it “Mlonge.” In Senegal, it goes by “Nebedaye,” and in Spanish-speaking countries, it retains the name “Moringa.”

Propagation of Moringa can be achieved through seeds or cuttings, making it adaptable to different cultivation practices. When grown from seeds, they should be planted in well-draining soil, preferably sandy or loamy, about 1-2 cm deep.
