Our embroidery patches are small fragments of Japanese culture. Showing lifestyle during different periods and occasions. Easily iron them on hand towels, T-shirts, Furoshikis or other items for decoration and creative fun!
The pine tree is considered a symbol of luck and longevity in Japanese culture. The pine tree, along with bamboo and plum (known as "shochikubai"), is collectively known as the "Three Friends of Winter" and is often used as a decorative motif in various cultural contexts.
The pine tree is admired for its evergreen nature, as it remains green throughout the winter, symbolizing endurance and vitality. As a result, it is associated with qualities such as steadfastness, resilience, and good fortune. Pine decorations are commonly used during the New Year's celebration, where they are featured in various forms, including pine branches, pine needle arrangements, or images of pine trees.
In addition to its decorative use, the pine motif can be found in traditional arts, crafts, and literature, reinforcing its positive symbolism in Japanese culture. Overall, the pine tree is seen as a symbol of luck, longevity, and enduring strength.
