Alocasia Longiloba "Dragon's Tooth" – A Bold and Striking Beauty!
The Alocasia Longiloba "Dragon's Tooth" is an absolutely breathtaking variety, with unique long, pointed leaves that resemble the sharp, jagged teeth of a dragon—hence its name! This Alocasia variety is truly a showstopper with its deep green foliage and dramatic leaf shapes, making it a must-have for any plant enthusiast looking to add some flair and character to their collection.
🌱 Care Instructions:
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to thrive and maintain its lush green foliage. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
- Water: Keep the soil consistently moist, but not soggy. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry, and make sure the pot has good drainage to prevent water from sitting at the bottom.
- Humidity: Loves high humidity, so it’s perfect for a bathroom or a space with a humidifier. If humidity is low, consider using a humidity tray or placing it near other plants.
- Soil: A well-draining, rich potting mix works best. A mix that includes peat, perlite, and orchid bark will provide the perfect environment for healthy roots.
- Growth Tip: Fertilize regularly during the growing season (spring to summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer to encourage strong growth and lush foliage.
