In bright conditions, the rosette may show blends of warm red, golden yellow, and fresh green, often with purple-tinted tips.                                                                                                                                                                 
  This variety grows most actively in spring and summer and produces many offsets, or “chicks,” around the base. Over time, these spread outward to form a dense mat. When mature, a rosette may send up a tall flower stalk in summer. It is very easy to propagate by separating the chicks and replanting them, making it a reliable and fast-spreading garden plant.
