About this plant
Philodendron ‘Red Heart’, commonly called Red Heart Philodendron, is a tropical climbing philodendron grown for its deep green foliage and rich red-toned new growth and stems. This cultivated hybrid is prized for its warm coloration and vigorous climbing habit. What makes this plant special is the contrast between the darker mature leaves and the reddish undersides, petioles, or emerging foliage depending on maturity and lighting. The leaves are elongated, heart-shaped, and slightly glossy, growing larger as the plant climbs.

Light requirements
Place Philodendron ‘Red Heart’ in an east or south window for the best color and growth, positioned at the window or within 1 to 3 feet depending on intensity. A west window can work if slightly pulled back from harsh late-day sun, while a north window will slow growth and reduce the red tones. Under grow lights, use 5000K to 6500K and keep the light 8 to 12 inches above the canopy. It performs best around 300 to 800 foot-candles. Consistent bright light supports stronger coloration and larger foliage.

Watering & environment
Allow the soil to dry about halfway down before watering, and always check the root zone with a chopstick or meter. Use a chunky, well-draining mix with support for climbing as the plant matures. It prefers moderate to higher humidity, warm temperatures, and steady airflow to support healthy root and leaf development.

What your plant is telling you
If leaves begin to droop or feel thinner, it is ready for water. If leaves yellow quickly or the stem base softens, the soil is staying too wet. If new growth loses its red coloration or leaves remain small, it needs more consistent light or vertical support.

Amazing stuff
Style: 14oz
I’ve been using this stuff for a number of years for a number of vehicles now and it works every time. It’s especially great with those small annoying leaks where you just lose a couple pounds every few days so you have to keep adding air like once a week. It totally seals it. The bottle says to only rely on it for 300 to 500 miles and then get a proper fix. However, I have not found this to be the case. The seal holds for the rest of the life of my tire every time I’ve used it. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little cheaper, but you can seal up 2 tires (use only half the can per tire - you can probably even get away with using less). There is a garage not far from me that fixes leaking tires for $10, which is the same price as this product so not really saving any money by using it. It’s more just a matter of convenience. Just make sure you get this “thru-core” one. They have other ones as well so it can get confusing, but the one you’d want for situations like I’ve described above (small to medium leak in a typical passenger vehicle) is this “thru-core” one.

Saved the day, even at 25°
Style: 18oz
The tire tread was peeling off the tire causing a leak that could not be plugged. Completely flat. It was about 25° outside and the can only dispensed half the contents. Was able to inflate the tire and make it to the shop. So the slime saved the day.

My new go-to for roadside emergencies.
Size: 58pcs, Size: 58pcs
Okay, I recently picked up this 58-in-1 tire repair kit, and I'm really glad I did. I've always been a bit nervous about getting a flat tire, especially on a long trip, and this kit has been a huge relief. The first thing I noticed was how complete it is. It's got everything you could possibly need, from the T-handle reamer to the solid pliers. I really appreciate the feel of the tools—they're not flimsy at all. The handle has a great grip, and the spiral tip on the reamer looks like it will make it easy to clear out a puncture without a lot of hassle. The plugs themselves feel tough and durable, like they'll actually hold up. I haven't had to use it on the road yet (thankfully!), but I did a practice run on an old tire I had. The instructions were easy enough to follow, and the whole process felt manageable. The best part is how compact the entire kit is. It all fits neatly into a little box that I can just toss in my trunk. It doesn't take up any space, and it gives me a real sense of security knowing it's there. It covers so many different vehicles, too, which is a nice bonus. It's definitely a peace-of-mind purchase that I'd recommend to anyone.
