Dictyosperma album var. Furfuraceum/Conjugatum Rare Palm Tree

Dictyosperma album var. Furfuraceum/Conjugatum, also known as the “Round Island Hurricane Palm” is endemic to the tiny island Île Ronde or “Round Island” in the Indian Ocean north of Mauritius, east of Madagascar in the Mascarene archipelago.

The slowest growing and smallest, though most breathtaking, of the three Dictyosperma species. Arching leaves form a dense, full crown of up to 16 - 18 leaves. The tips of the leaflets are joined together by reins running along the edge of the leaf making this variety immediately recognizable. Stout trunk with a large bulging pale almost white crownshaft.

A very easy low maintenance palm. Grows steadily at a medium pace in a sunny position with adequate water and nutrition. Will be right at home in tropical, subtropical, and some warm temperate areas. All three varieties of Dictyosperma palms can take considerable coastal exposure i.e. salt and wind, and are referred to as“Hurricane palms” Very drought and wind tolerant.

An extremely rare palm growing in few landscapes and not widely available. This palm has few rivals in its ability to majestically occupy wide open spaces in coastal areas. Makes a fantastic potted specimen for the patio or indoors with a suitable environment! One of our most coveted favorites at “Let’s Grow Florida”

Works great
Ive broken so many manual can openers from sheer strength and this eliminates that issue not only because it no longer needs my input but because this device actually works! Would definitely recommend it. Usb c charging is a god send, no batteries!

Good product
Let me tell you just how much I love this can opener. I am 80 yrs old and the hand opener was becoming a real challenge to use, this is sooooooo easy, holds it's charge for a long time and the lids don't have any rough edges. Great product for an excellent price.

It worked on all size of cans
Eh pretty good for the whopping 3 weeks I had it. Came home one day and it was broken. It still operated. As in all functions were there but it wouldn't latch onto cans anymore. I think one of my adult kids dropped it. Honestly surprised motor still operated after it's drop.

Didn't work out for me after a few uses.
Broke after only like 5 uses...not worth the money. Doesn't stay sharp nor does it auto-clamp onto cans after such uses. Thought it worked only to find out it didn't cut the can and left little metal shavings from just kinda "scratching" the can and I ended up getting a splinter. Thought it was low on battery and fully charged only for it to keep not cutting the can. Trashed it just gonna buy a regular stand up from walmart or something.
