Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ 

Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ (PP30,035 Propagation Prohibited) has taken the houseplant world by storm! It’s no wonder why: This naturally occurring mutation of a regular ZZ plant features striking foliage. Our Plant Hunter first acquired it in early 2015, and we have been working on propagating this slow-growing beauty ever since. Raven was found in Asia (and patented by its discoverer, who has granted us exclusive rights to propagate it in North America), but the species is native to areas of Africa. Though you might not guess by looking at it, Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ is in the aroid family (Araceae) and related to trendy plants like monstera, pothos, and philodendron.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.

I’m also really sensitive to perfumes and heavy fragrances, but the tea tree, eucalyptus, and thyme combo is clean and fresh, and somehow simultaneously energizing and calming. As for the price, a small amount of this cleanser goes a really long way. We would normally go through a water-based cheaper cleanser in this size in about a week. We’ve been using this for 2 weeks and it’s only about halfway gone. I try to be thrifty with most things but this product is more than worth the price tag!
