The mother plant is Anthurium Red Spider Ori, sourced from renowned Indonesian grower Eddy Pranoto.

A legendary Anthurium admired for its distinctive narrow leaf shape, dramatic proportions, and intense presence. Red Spider Ori is especially known for its rich dark foliage, prominent venation, and elegant spider-like form that becomes increasingly striking as the plant matures.

Pollen Donor

The pollen donor is Anthurium Dusk Ablaze.

One of our original plants, and something we’ve kept fairly private over time. While we’ve never revealed the full background, many will recognise the likely Red Spider influence. It has only been used in a small number of crosses, always producing very limited yields, but consistently contributing strong colour, depth, and dramatic character.

Dusk Ablaze is especially admired for its dark foliage, rich emergent colours, and refined velvet texture, making it one of the more distinctive plants in our collection.
