💜African Violet Grow and Care Instructions💜

*Please Note: African Violets seeds are extremely tiny, as a speck. Please be careful when opening!!! I recommend cutting the baggie under the ziplock part this will help prevent the seeds from getting stuck in the ziplock bag’s tracks. It will also help to use a white background to see their seeds.

~ Grow Instructions ~

Planting African violet seeds starts with the right growing medium. A popular growing medium for starting African violet seeds is peat moss. Fully dampen the peat moss before you start planting the African violet seeds. It should be moist but not wet. The next step in starting an African violet from seed is to carefully and evenly spread the seeds over the growing medium. This can be difficult, as the seeds are very small but do the best that you can to spread them evenly. After you have spread the African violet seeds, they don’t need to be covered with more growing medium; they are so small that covering them even with a small amount of peat moss can bury them too deeply. Use a spray bottle to lightly mist the top of the peat moss and then cover the container in plastic wrap. Place the container in a bright window out of direct sunlight or under fluorescent lights. Make sure the peat moss stays moist and spray the peat moss when it starts to dry out.

Germination can be slow, so be patient and avoid overwatering or disturbing the seeds. African violet seeds should germinate within 2 to 5 weeks under optimal conditions, with some seeds potentially taking up to 9 weeks to sprout. Make sure the peat moss stays moist and spray the peat moss when it starts to dry out.

The African violet seedlings can be transplanted to their own pots when the largest leaf is about 1/2 inch (1 cm.) wide. If you need to separate seedlings that are growing too close together, you can do this when the African violet seedlings have leaves that are about 1/4 inch (6 mm) wide.

*Please make sure to repot your African Violets every six months. I recommend mixing your own Soil :

*2 Cups Peat Moss

* 1 Cup Vermiculite

*1 Cup Perlite

(50:25:25 ratio)

~ Care Instructions ~

Water – African violet plants are picky about water, so take extra care of African violets when watering. Water with lukewarm or tepid water that was allowed to stand for 48 hours. Water at the base and never splash the foliage with water; just a drop can cause foliar spots and damage. Proper watering is an important aspect of learning how to grow African violets. Water when the soil feels less moist to the touch. Never let growing African violets stand in water or completely dry out. Wick watering, from the bottom, is sometimes appropriate but may not be the best practice for those new to growing African violet plants.

Light – Provide appropriate lighting for the African violet plant. Light intensity should be filtered, with bright to medium intensity reaching the growing African violet. Light affects flowering. African violet plants with dark green foliage usually need somewhat higher light levels than those with pale or medium green foliage. Turn pots regularly to keep flowers from reaching for the light. Place growing African violets 3 feet (1 m.) from a south- or west-facing window for the right lighting. If this light cannot be maintained for eight hours, consider supplementing with fluorescent lights.

Fertilizer – Fertilize African violet plants with special African violet food or a food with a higher phosphorus number — the middle number in the NPK fertilizer ratio, such as 15-30-15. Fertilizer can be mixed at one-quarter strength and used at every watering. Reduced flowering and paler leaf color indicate that growing African violets are not getting enough fertilizer. Pinch blooms from the growing African violets when they are spent. This will encourage the development of more flowers.

Thank you so very much for supporting my small business!!! 🪴Happy Planting🪴

💚 Best Wishes, Your Plant Bitch (Quinn)

2010 Subaru Outback CVT fluid 👍
Size: 5 Quart, Style: 1 Pack
2010 Subaru Outback CVT ... have been using this for several thousand miles instead of OEM fluid, and works just fine ... if your subie takes the "green" CVT fluid, this works excellent! I even used this after dropping the CVT valve body and replacing the lock up solenoid, so I had to replace with almost exactly 10 qts of fluid.

It Works! (Mustang 2016 ecoboost knocking noise)
Style: Modifier
I recently experienced a remarkable transformation in my 2016 Mustang Ecoboost, thanks to the LIQUI MOLY Oil Additive Cera Tec 3721. As someone with a passion for automobiles and a background as a software engineer, I'm always on the lookout for ways to improve my vehicle's performance. This product turned out to be a game-changer. One of the issues I had been facing with my Mustang was a persistent knocking noise, which can be quite concerning for any car enthusiast. After researching potential solutions, I decided to give LIQUI MOLY Cera Tec 3721 a try. And I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The primary reason I opted for this oil additive was its promise of ceramic wear and tear protection. As someone who values the longevity of my vehicles, I wanted to reduce engine friction and wear as much as possible. This product did exactly that. The moment I started using it, I noticed a significant reduction in engine noise, especially the knocking sound that had been bothering me. It provided a smoother engine performance, and the difference was noticeable. What impressed me even more was the impact on fuel consumption. As someone who loves to travel and has explored six states during my time in the USA, fuel efficiency is a key concern. LIQUI MOLY Cera Tec 3721 not only improved my engine's performance but also led to lower fuel consumption. This means fewer stops at the gas station and more miles of adventure. Moreover, being a mentor and research assistant, I appreciate the science behind this product. It's clear that LIQUI MOLY has put considerable effort into developing a high-quality additive that benefits both petrol and diesel engines. This is the kind of innovation that I believe will shape the future of the automotive industry. In conclusion, LIQUI MOLY Oil Additive Cera Tec 3721 has not only fixed the knocking noise in my Mustang but has also enhanced its overall performance. It's a product that aligns with my goal of staying at the forefront of technology and innovation in the IT sector, even when it comes to my car. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve engine performance, reduce friction, and achieve better fuel efficiency. It's a small investment with significant returns for your vehicle.

Skeptical...... to Believer

I've waited awhile to write this review, to see how time effected my opinion. A little background, my daughter really wanted a 328i, so I went out and found a clean, single owner vehicle with a little over 100k on it. Its the family's first BMW, but as a mechanic I've seen and worked on them all. The BMW N52 engine seems overly complicated for what it does. Power output and economy are just average even though its got just about every bell and whistle including variable valve timing. One thing that struck me was how noisy it was. Kinda like a quiet sewing machine. I changed the oil to Mobil 1 0w/40 Euro blend and she drove it for 7k miles. During this time I read up on all the LL/01 oils for this car, so next oil change I used Castrol Edge, which is LL/01 certified. No difference. Car runs well, still sounds like a sewing machine. 7k more miles go by, and I learn about this CeraTec additive, and decide to give it a try based on all the good reviews. Yup, looks like a Orange Julius!! Well, I dump it it, and take it around the block. Engine seems a little quieter and smoother, but figure its my brain screwing with me. I slam the hood, and give my daughter the keys back, and off she goes. And here's where it gets interesting.... My 19 year old daughter doesnt know squat about cars. She a 100% gas it up and go girl. So about 2 weeks after the CeraTec goes in we are sitting at the dinner table and she says... " Oh Daddy, I forgot to thank you for tuning up my car". I ask her what makes her think I did? She replies that since the last service its much smoother idling at red lights and its quieter. (Remember, she's driven it for 7500 miles at this point) I asked her how could she tell, as the radio is always at least half volume. She says when its running and she's got the window down ordering at a drive -thru it used to go "tickity-tickity" ( her words)as it echo'ed off the building.. and now its silent. I go out and fire it up and roll down the window and stick my head out.... yup. Silent and verrry smooth. She also has average MPG constantly on display , and its improved about .65 mpg. So, if you add all that up, it seems to work. Liqui-Moly says its lasts 30k miles. I service the car every 7k, so we'll see if this all stays the same after a service, which is coming up soon. The car uses zero oil between services, so I cant comment on that. But from a smoothness, quietness point of view, if my daughter noticed it without me prompting her, I would say thats what made me a believer more than anything. Thanks Liqui-Moly.
