If leaves of this plant becomes yellow or damaged due to sun burn or any other reason, we should prune the leaves, so that new leaves may grow faster. After pruning, we must keep the plant in shady or filtered sunlight area, otherwise hot temperature may prevent its healthy growth. The plant keeps on producing new bulbs in soil and each bulb is capable to give birth to a new plant. If we plant this on open ground, it can grow horizontally in all directions by producing many new plants. We can separate each new plant and plant them at separate place. This plant is very easy to grow. If we have grown this plant and we don't water it for months, its leaves may be dead but its underground bulb in soil remains capable to re-produce new leaves. Even with low level of atmospheric humidity (25% ), this plant continues to grow healthily.

Watering & Sunlight:          The plant can grow very well in diffused sunlight. If edges of leave are getting yellow, shift the plant to shady area. Over watering is to be avoided because this plant can survive without water for a longer time. But if we give excessive water, its bulb & root may rot. Drainage in pot is necessary by making sufficient holes in bottom. To make the ideal potting mix, 20 % drainage media (river sand/ Leca/ Perlite/ Pumice or rice husk- use any of them) in potting mix should be available.  Whenever the soil becomes dry, please water the plant. If you grow this plant in shady area, its leaves will always be green. Due to more sunlight or temperature (more than 35⁰ C), its leaves may burn.  But whenever climatic conditions will become suitable for this plant, it starts producing new leaves at very fast rate.
