While rewatching Aliens—arguably one of the greatest movies of all time and my favorite of the franchise—Bill Paxton’s iconic line, “Game over, man!” immediately made me think of Mario. The idea of a crossover made me laugh. I considered swapping Mario for Princess Peach to honor Sigourney Weaver/Ripley, but in the end, I preferred the sketches with Mario.
