Crinum 'Jagus' arguably has the finest foliage of all crinums, complemented by oversized, striking white blooms. It blooms once in early summer—occasionally twice—producing flowers with a lovely vanilla fragrance. This variety performs best in coastal regions, though it has been known to thrive as far north as Zone 8a.

Crinums don't like to be moved so they won't bloom for you this year, but give them time to get adjusted and enjoy the display of blooms next year!

Planting: The Crinum 'Jagus' produces a stunning white trumpet bloom, distinctly different from other crinums. Its flowers are fatter and more openly flared, with a refined, elegant shape that evokes the timeless beauty of wedding florals.
Plant the crinums with the tip of their neck right at or barely above soil level. Plant in well-drained soil. Crinum can take full summer sun, but if you have a little shade during the late afternoon, that would be great. Crinum perform best when they have at least 8+ hours of sun every day.
