Moneywort (Bacopa monnieri) is one of the most widely kept aquarium stem plants in the hobby — a hardy, compact, broadly tolerant species with small, rounded to oval, slightly succulent leaves carried in opposite pairs along upright stems. It is the most adaptable Bacopa in the catalog: growing across a wider temperature, pH, and light range than either Lemon Bacopa or Purple Bacopa, tolerating harder and more alkaline water than many stem plants, and maintaining healthy green growth under very low light conditions that stop most other stem plants from growing meaningfully. The leaf form is similar to Lemon Bacopa but the leaves are somewhat smaller, the internodal spacing slightly more compact, and the growth habit generally sturdier and more self-reliant — Moneywort is the Bacopa you introduce and largely leave alone, fertilising consistently and trimming periodically, rather than the one you optimise for colour expression. Above the waterline it produces small, pale lavender to white flowers where stems emerge from the surface. Fully safe with all Neocaridina, Caridina, and snails.

Growth, Adaptability & Behaviour
Small, rounded leaves with a slightly succulent texture — neat and compact — each leaf is small — 1–1.5cm across — and slightly thick or fleshy compared to the thinner leaves of faster-growing stem plants, giving the plant a neat, tidy appearance that holds up well over time. The slightly succulent leaf texture means leaves retain their form and do not become ragged or translucent as they age the way thin-leafed species sometimes do.
Extremely wide parameter and light tolerance — one of the most adaptable stem plants — Moneywort grows in pH from slightly acidic to quite alkaline, in hard or soft water, under low or high light, and across a temperature range from cool subtropical to warm tropical. This breadth of tolerance makes it suitable for virtually any freshwater setup without parameter adjustment and makes it the most reliable backup option when a stem plant choice needs to work across a wide range of tank conditions.
Slower, more compact growth than fast stem plants — lower trimming frequency — Moneywort grows at a moderate pace — slower than Willow Hygro, Pennywort, or Anacharis Najas — which means less frequent trimming to maintain the desired height. In most tanks a trimming cycle every six to eight weeks is sufficient. The compact internodal spacing means stems look full and tidy at any height rather than sparse between nodes.
Produces small lavender-white flowers above the waterline — stems that grow above the waterline in emerged conditions produce small, pale lavender to white flowers — a pleasant above-water quality that tanks with open tops and stems reaching the surface will display. The flowers are small and unshowy but visible and indicate a healthy, well-nourished plant.
Biofilm on leaf surfaces — consistent shrimp grazing — the small, smooth, clearly bounded leaf surfaces accumulate biofilm that shrimp graze continuously. In a group of planted Moneywort stems the combination of biofilm on multiple leaf surfaces at various heights in the water column provides a vertically distributed foraging resource that shrimp use throughout the day.
How to Set It Up
Getting Started
1Plant in groups of five to seven stems in the midground or background — strip the lowest 3cm of leaves and plant at 2–3cm spacing. Moneywort grows more slowly than fast stem plants so a slightly denser initial planting helps the group look coherent from the outset rather than sparse for the first weeks.
2Any light level from low to high — adjust to what the tank provides — Moneywort grows under all practical aquarium light levels. Under low light growth is slow but reliable; under high light growth is faster and leaves may develop a very slight warm tint. Choose the light level that suits the rest of the tank — no adjustment is needed for Moneywort specifically.
3Trim every six to eight weeks and replant tops — cut stems at the desired height, strip the lowest 3cm of leaves from the cut tops, and replant immediately. The original stems branch from the cut points. Moneywort branches readily and becomes progressively denser at each trimming cycle.
4Fertilise consistently with balanced liquid formula — two to three doses per week of comprehensive liquid fertiliser. Moneywort is not particularly demanding but responds to consistent fertilisation with faster growth and more compact internodal spacing — unfertilised plants grow slowly and may have larger gaps between leaf pairs than well-fed plants.
💡 Bonus Tip
Moneywort is the most reliable stem plant for bridging a parameter gap when you have a mixed tank or uncertain water chemistry — if you are not sure whether a faster-growing, more demanding stem plant will thrive in your specific water parameters, establish a group of Moneywort first. If Moneywort grows steadily and stays green after six to eight weeks, the water chemistry is sufficient for most other stem plants in the catalog. If Moneywort struggles, something in the water chemistry — pH, GH, nutrient levels, or lighting — needs attention before more sensitive species will succeed.

PlayStation 5 is a beast

I never thought I would be a gamer at 62yrs old but after playing the PlayStation 5 at my cousins home & seeing the great graphics ,the choice of all the different types of games available for anyone's & everyone's interest, I had to have one. Are they expensive? Yeppers! But, they are well worth it as this will last for many many years, even if I wind up in a retirement home, this will come with me & I will never be bored. I might drive someone else "Batty" ( if I have a room mate he wont be there for long but thems the breaks kid!) This was purchased at an absolute excellent price & I am very thankful. Wish I invested in the Playstation 5 sooner

Before buying this I had the Switch 2 and Xbox Series X; however, after buying the Playstation 5 I am blown away right out of the box. The Series X and PS5 are both 4K next generation systems, and though the Series X has the 12 teraflops graphics processing the PS5 looked way batter on my 4K TV. I also like the added functionality of the controller adding to the gaming experience with the touch pad, microphone, and gyroscopic motion control. The console is even turns on automatically by changing TV to the system's HDMI input and puts the TV into gaming mode. That is something the Series X and Switch 2 of course never have done. One down side is the system is notorious for not supporting audio cds which going back the original Playstation in 1994 the brand was always able to support. Plus if you get a cd stuck in the disk drive like what I did recently Sony made it possible to remove the disk without destroying you console in a few easy to follow steps. That saves gamers alot of money in repairs if something like that were to ever occur which is a well thought out solution. With former Xbox exclusives moving to the Playstation 5 I highly recommend adding this system to your collection.

Color me impressed!
Compact, high quality unit, SUPER easy ink refills, great value, fast print and good color. I've lived with 2 printers and moved them between 5 states. A laser printer for good, fast, low cost prints and an all in one ink jet. It was a total pain, they were both big, both have me headaches, heavy and I needed 2. FINALLY, FINALLY I have 1 printer to replace both, do anything I might need and the ink refills MAKE SENSE! Imagine that?! Haha. A printer that doesn't come with just enough ink to print a test page, but comes with 2 full years with of COLOR ink! This is the way forward and thank you HP for going this route. The idea that buying a new printer is cheaper than buying ink refills warms my heart because there are so many printers that end up in landfills, not to mention how much of a consumer headache it is. I will say that I had concerns regarding color print quality and that it might be messy to refill. I'll put your mind at ease - impressive color print quality, speed and adding ink couldn't be easier! (Idk how this printer would travel while full, but everything seems tight and sealed) Overall I couldn't be happier with the end result. The cost, functions, ease of use and low ongoing ink cost are 100% with it in my opinion. I forgot to mention that I've never found a personal or work printer that was easy to use wirelessly. I'd have a headache adding the printer to my PC or couldn't get a crappy app to work. Once I did, I'd get error codes or a jam... Idk, I'm very techy but that's been my experience. This HP worked without issue and the app was very straightforward. I haven't tried advanced options but it does what I need... It just works! I did try scanning and they was fast and easy as well. I have the printer on a 6ft hutch, so fingers crossed everything continues to work and I won't have to bust out the step ladder 6x like I used to.

I started my own photo printing shop
Having a printer that performs this well has been great. Setting it up was easy to do with the included instructions. I already have a color laser printer which I use all the time, and you may be wondering why I would go buy an inkjet printer. Photos. You can't print on glossy paper with a laser printer very well. All the photo paper I've purchased clearly says it's for inkjet printers. While this hasn't stopped me from trying. The results have been very poor. Especially if you want to cut the photos to specific sizes. Little bits of toner get everywhere.
I've been putting off getting an inkjet because the cartridge system is too expensive and messy. I got more ink on my hands pulling the stickers off the refills than filling every tank on the HP 7602. This printer has all the features you would expect such as Wi-Fi, flatbed scanner, automatic document feeder, 2-sided printing, and even an ID card copy function. If your business provides financing this is something that would really make things easy for you.
My wife and I print photos from our phone using the HP Smart app or the phone's default printing app and both produce excellent results. The photos are where you would expect them to be, and the quality is as good as getting them from the pharmacy.
Like I said I have a laser printer, but I was curious how this would work just printing some regular documents. It’s not quite as fast obviously but the results are just as good. I love the user interface that is so seamlessly placed into the front bezel. Unless it’s telling you something you would never know it was there. This Printer checks a lot of boxes for me and was 100% worth the investment.

HP Warranty: Know this before buying; Unit malfunction in less than 5 months
UPDATE: Not even 5 months using this printer and there are problems. 1 - the printer's black ink is not working. A blank paper comes out for documents printed in black ink only. The problem: the black ink is not running through the tube that connects the blank ink tank to the ink cartridge. The tube is totally clear. 2 - The ink cartridge does not move to the center when opening the printer cover, preventing access and removal of the ink cartridge.
HP Tech Support: Spent about an hour with tech support for them to tell me what I already knew - the printer is defective.
HP Warranty: HP is not abiding by the terms of the warranty. According to the standard warranty, HP is to first ship a replacement. To ship the defected unit back, the customer is to use the prepaid shipping label provided by HP and use the box of the replacement unit to ship the defective unit back. Without any advance notification to the customers, HP has indicated to me that this policy does not apply to Smart Tank printers. Smart Tank purchasers are responsible to bear the cost of shipping the defective unit and providing the box. Once HP receives the defective unit, they will then ship the replacement. This policy obviously extends the period the customer is without a working printer. I tried pushing back, but to no avail.
Replaced a HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer. The HP 7602 takes up less space, is well made, looks nice and the printing quality is better. The printing speed is slower, which will be much more noticeable when printing multiple, double sided pages. The paper tray does not have a slider from the top to ensure that the paper stays level and in place. It only has sliders on the side. I would have liked to see an Officejet Pro 8600 equivalent tank printer. The cost of ink cartridges for regular inkjet printers can not be justified for someone that does not print much.
