Dicentra spectabilis (Old-Fashioned Bleeding Heart)
Dicentra spectabilis is a beloved garden classic prized for its romantic, heart-shaped blooms and graceful, arching habit. This long-cherished perennial forms full, bushy clumps of soft, powdery-green foliage on fleshy stems. In late spring, elegant chains of rose-pink flowers with delicate white tips dangle from leafless arching stems, creating an unforgettable display.
