Prefers low light to indirect.

Prefers moist soil. Be sure to keep the soil constantly moist, but not soggy. 

Common problems you may face with your Calathea is under watering, overwatering, or fungal infection. The signs of under watering are dry soil and wilting/curling leaves. Overwatering can often cause your plant’s leaves to yellow and leave the base of the plant black.
