Dracaena marginata 'Magenta' is a striking twist on the classic dragon tree, with deep green, narrow leaves edged in vivid reddish-pink. Bold and architectural, it brings instant height and colour to any space — and it barely asks for anything in return. If you love your plants tall, spiky, and super chill, this one’s a keeper.

Plant Care
Light:
Thrives in bright, indirect light, but will tolerate medium or lower light too. Too much direct sun may fade the colour or crisp the tips.

Watering:
Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. It’s drought-tolerant and hates soggy roots. Sensitive to fluoride — use filtered or rainwater if possible.

Temperature:
Happy in 18–26°C. Keep it above 12°C and avoid cold draughts or sudden temperature dips.

Potting:
Loves our A Sandy Loam mix — light, free-draining, and perfect for avoiding soggy roots.

Hot tips:
Wipe leaves occasionally to keep them dust-free and glossy. If it gets leggy, prune the top — it’ll reshoot below the cut and become even bushier over time.

I've been using this for about a month now, every night on my face and neck, hoping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and tighten some of my skin in that area that seems to be losing elasticity. You can feel something when you apply it, it's almost like the feeling of static electricity, but it's very mild. I wouldn't let that stop you from giving it a try if you were concerned about it. It didn't cause my sensitive skin any breakouts or redness (although I was applying it at night before bed, so perhaps any redness was calmed overnight). I'm going to go ahead and finish the bottle, but based on these results, I probably won't repurchase.
