Mimosa pudica also called as sensitive plant/sleepy plant/action plant/touch-me-not/shameplant etc. It is a creeping perennial flowering plant from Fabaceae family. It is grown for its curiosity value: the compound leaves fold inward and droop when touched or shaken, defending themselves from harm, and re-open a few minutes later. It undergoes changes in leaf orientation termed "sleep" or nyctinastic movement. The foliage closes during darkness and reopens in light. Purple flower heads arise from the leaf axils in mid summer with more and more flowers as the plant gets older. But it is mainly grown for it's leaves which are very enjoyable.

The roots of Mimosa pudica create carbon disulfide, which prevents certain pathogenic and mycorrhizal fungi from growing within the plant's rhizosphere. This allows the formation of nodules on the roots of the plant which fix atmospheric nitrogen and convert it into a form that is usable by the plant. 
Mimosa pudica have many  medicinal value also.

These are toxic micro-plastic toys. They are especially bad for teething puppies sharp teeth. Within an hour of playing, pieces began to chip off and easily falling apart. If you don’t heed this warning to buy something else, at least monitor your dog when in use, never leave unattended and plan to throw them away when they start to break down. It’s a shame because the set is really cute and has ideal texture my dog loved with a nice variety of shapes. Not worth the risk though for a member of the family.
