The dense growth pattern of the leaves makes this plant a fantastic air purifier! Similar to the other relatives in the Ficus genus, the Danielle is toxic to pets and humans – keep the leaves and sap out of reach of any curious pets and people.

**please note, any plants seen in pots are for product image purposes only. If you'd like your plant to be repotted, please select a planter from the options above the "Add To Cart" button

Lighting

To keep your Danielle vibrant and happy, you need to bathe it in several hours of bright, indirect light - you can place them in a bright room, but away from the window. Excessive amounts (over 4 hours daily) of direct sunlight, will burn the leaves over a period of time

Watering *Schedule*

We don't like to define watering "schedules" because how often you water really depends on your indoor environment and the seasonality. Danielles prefer soil that is left to partially dry between waterings and, in typical Ficus fashion, the Danielle prefers a regular and consistent watering in the spring and summer. Check the soil moisture before watering, for a big Danielle this size, if it's dry 3"-4" into the pot, then it's time to give the plant a drink. Water thoroughly (this is very important), until you see water coming from the drainage holes or collecting in the tray underneath. Remember, when you let the plant dry out thoroughly then you can't really overwater the plant by the amount of water you put in.

*if you are here via a google search looking to learn more about watering instructions for the danielles, it is crucial that you read our ficus watering guide (because Danielles are ficus plants) (coming soon). Because the watering information above is for Danielles of the huge (17" diameter pot) size and plant size matters when it comes to watering.

Growth Habits

When they are grown in pots, the Danielles can grow to be anywhere around 10 feet tall! It is a fast grower and may need to be repotted up to once per year – do so in the early spring for best results.

Great buy-read update
Flavor Name: Beef, Size: Large
My dog loved it right away. Kept going from his old bone to this one and finally just stuck with this one. My dog is a 90 pound 1.5 year old German Shepherd. The size is fine. I don’t know what the other people were talking about when they said the large was too small for big dogs. It’s not indestructible, after one day there were serious gouges on it, but it looks like it’s going to last quite awhile. I will say, he’s not able to gnaw off little pieces of it, and that’s a great thing. I couldn’t give it five stars, because we just received it, and the dog has only had it for a few days. So it’s 4 stars. ****UPDATE**** As of Jan. 1, 2021, the bone is in the trash. The thing seemed to get softer and come apart more easily the more he chewed. I was finding little pieces all over and god only knows much of it he swallowed. Now I give it 3 stars.

Yes it's for aggressive chewers
Flavor Name: Beef, Size: Medium, Flavor Name: Beef, Size: Medium
I have 2 dogs a malti poo and 120 lb pit rotty mix. My son just moved in with his 8 month old pitty/ 90 lbs. needless to say we have purchased sooo many bones and toys, always have to have bones for them all or they argue and fight. This bone we have had for about 8 -9 days.. They all chew on it non stop and it is still fully intact with a few rough areas where they chewed up the suface. The picture was taken today. But keep in mind they will typically go through a large elk antler ($40) in about 4-5 days.. down to splinters. but not this bone. I got the beef. It does have a slight smell, kind of beefy but no worse than some other bones we bought. Only noticed it taking it out of the package. They all enjoy it. I was worried they wouldn't be interested because it's fake.. but no. I will definitely purchase a few more cuz when someone isn't home the pitty will chew shoes or remotes, etc. Every day was a new surprise. But he hasn't touched anything since we got this bone. I would definitely recommend for aggressive chewers and the price is reasonable.

Disappointing
Flavor Name: Chicken, Size: Large
I was disappointed. In the description, it mentioned it has meat aroma. It doesn't. My dog has barely paid any attention to it at all... and he will chew on anything!

Great Dog Chew!
My American Pitbull who is 10 months old is an aggressive chewer. He loves this Tikaton bacon scented dog chew. My picture reflects the part he loves the most-the center. It’s his favorite chew & has been chewing on it nonstop & there’s little sign of true wear & tear. He licks the outer portion & really focuses on chewing the center. I like how it’s a non-toxic nylon. The box clearly gives a heads up that this could be a chocking hazard so I do watch him when he’s chewing. He’s 60lbs. & I did get him a large so it’s not too small for him. I don’t foresee him choking on it but I’m cautious. Despite his aggressive chewing there has been zero sign of any piece tearing off. I like how it’s designed so he chews from the side rather than from the top or bottom. I did take a picture, for your reference, which I hope is helpful, of what the box reads in regards to the chew in general. Possibly this will determine if you feel this is right for your dog. I feel it’s a quality chew & it’s worth what I paid. I do recommend!
