Old English Country Wildflower Seed Mix Information
| When to Sow: | Throughout the year (bar the depths of winter) but best results from August to October then March to April. | |||||||||||||||||

| How to Sow: | Sowing of Wildflower seeds can take place through most of the year (bar the depths of winter). But generally the most successful time is August to October (following natures natural cycle) and then by March to April. The best method to create a wildflower meadow is to sow on a freshly prepared seed bed. Prepare the seed bed by clearing all the weeds by hand or with glyphosate for perennial weeds, dig over and a rake soil to a fine tilth, tread or roll and then rake again. If the soil is very fertile remove the top 5-10cm of topsoil first. Broadcast the seed at a rate of 5g/sqm. (The seed can be mixed with sharp sand to ensure a more even spread). Lightly rake the seed in and water carefully with a fine hose. | |||||||||||||||||
| Care: | Carefully water during dry weather, and keep on top of removing weeds until the meadow begins to establish. In the first year after germination cut sward to 5cm in Mar/Apr. (If seed sown in spring do 1st cut in May). Then cut every 2 months or when the meadow reaches 15cms. Remove the grass and compost, this stops the meadow being swamped and helps keep the fertility down. The final cut will be Sept/Oct, all cuttings should be removed. Following years should see the wildflower meadow cut in Mar/Apr to 7.5cm and the second cut in Aug/Oct. | |||||||||||||||||

Our Go-To Pull-Ups for Potty Training

We’ve tried a few different brands during potty training, and we always come back to Pull-Ups. They fit my daughter really well, are easy for her to pull up and down on her own, and hold up great overnight without leaking.
The sides tear easily for quick changes, which is super helpful when you’re out and about. The designs are also cute and helped make potty training a little more exciting for my toddler. Definitely a staple in our house during this stage!

I love this brand. It’s very secure, and the adjustable band makes it easy to tighten without taking off my child’s pants. They prevent leaks, and fit great!
We have always used Huggies diapers for our babies and young toddlers because they were the only ones that never leaked or caused a rash. My second daughter was fully potty trained at 2.5 years old and never needed pull-ups. However, our third daughter, who also trained at 2.5 years old, digressed with her nighttime potty training due to instability - we moved twice within the first 6 weeks after she potty trained. So we had to get pull-ups for her to wear at night. Obviously since we loved Huggies diapers, we tried Huggies Pull-Ups, and again, they did not disappoint! They never leak, even on nights when she doesn't get up to go at all, and has lots of pee, and they have never caused a rash either, no matter how full. She's been using them for 1.5 years, at night, and we have never had any issues. They are dependable: decently comfortable to the child, do not cause rashes, fit properly with the ability to adjust at the thigh (if needed), and they prevent leaks! I highly recommend them!
