We're so excited to pop up for an OUTDOOR terrarium workshop at the Gallagher Way French Market!

Join us right outside of Wrigley Field to make your own succulent garden! No green thumbs required - we'll share helpful care tips to keep your succulents healthy for months to come. Pssst....the key is to avoid overwatering! You'll leave with new plants and all you need to know about succulents.

All supplies are provided and no experience is required - we will provide hands-on instruction and plenty of seasonal succulents to choose from.

This event coincides with the French Market at Gallagher Way starting at 4pm - bring a tote and plan to shop! Also plan for limited parking in area and consider public transit, rideshare, or booking a spot (spothero, etc.) ahead of time.

As thrilled as we are to be OUTDOORS - workshop is weather permitting! In the event of a reschedule or cancellation, we will transfer tickets or offer refunds.

Thursday, May 12, 2021 - 5:30-7pm @ Gallagher Way - 3635 N. Clark St.

Each ticket includes:

  • clear glass container
  • choice of 2-3 succulents
  • soil, sand, rocks, moss, and plant pets and accessories
  • handout with care tips to keep your succulents alive and thriving

Safety protocols:

  • We will follow all safety guidelines at the time of event
  • Masks are welcome but not required
  • Please continue to self-screen and contact us if you're sick or have had a Covid exposure leading up to the event
  • Please let us know if a friend also signs up - we'll make sure to sit you next to each other

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
