Variegated Alocasia (Alocasia macrorrhiza Variegata), also known as Elephant Ear, is a very rare tropical house plant known for its dramatic foliage. Its jaw-dropping green and white variegated leaves make it a popular indoor house plant for collectors and tropical gardeners. Elephant Ear’s heart-shaped foliage consists of thick, glossy green leaves with white blotches and ruffled edges.

Each leaf is like a fingerprint, totally unique, and if you are lucky, your Variegated Alocasia might produce the rare all-white leaf! When you buy your Variegated Alocasia Elephant Ear Plant online, place it somewhere in your home that receives partial shade. It thrives with bright, indirect light but too much sun can scorch the variegated leaves. Do not let the soil dry completely between waterings because Alocasia Variegata prefers a moist, tropical environment. Variegated Alocasia Elephant Ear clean air plants are one of the most coveted Alocasia plants available; prized by interior designers and decorators, this rare tropical house plant is a collectible and is often hard to come by.

  • Clean air plant removing toxins such as formaldehyde, benzene, and xylene
  • Very rare collectible house plant
  • Thick, glossy, green and white variegated foliage
  • Heart-shaped leaves

Essential To Read Before the Class
Format: Paperback
This book provides a good overview of what you'll need to know for your AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) course and assessment. If you plan to take that course this book is a no-brainer. You just have to buy it and read it. There are a few shortcomings: * The photos of how to tie the knots skip a lot and it is impossible to learn the knots from the book. * The photos of what not to do should be clearly labeled with a red cross bar or WRONG overlay on the photo. If you flip causally through the book and look at the photos some very wrong stuff is there and you have to read the text to know that it is not recommended. * The religious debate on anchor systems rages on. Should you set up a Joshua Tree System with Tether or a Backside System? I realize the AMGA doesn't want to pick sides and will say either is acceptable, but the book doesn't even try to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various anchor systems.

over all good book, quality pictures
Format: Paperback
this book will get you ready for the course, but there is a lot to learn outside of the book as well. Training and time is the only way to become truly proficient at the skills out lined in this book. over all good book, quality pictures.

Great for semi-experienced looking to build on knowledge.
Format: Paperback
Fantastic instructional manual if you already have some basic knowledge of anchors, ropework and climbing technique. It is written as an instructional manual for climbers looking to turn into guides so if you're brand new this probably isn't the best option for you.
