LIKES: Thrives in bright, indirect light and warm, humid conditions. Prefers temperatures above 65°F (18°C) and benefits from occasional misting to maintain humidity.
DISLIKES: Doesn’t tolerate direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves. Overwatering can lead to root rot, while dry air may cause leaf browning.
HEALTH BENEFITS: Known for its air-purifying qualities, the Anthurium helps remove airborne toxins such as ammonia, formaldehyde, and xylene, promoting cleaner indoor air.
WATERING AND FEEDING: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 6-8 weeks during the growing season to encourage blooms.
LIVING WITH PETS AND CHILDREN: Toxic if ingested, so keep it out of reach of pets and small children. Its sap can also cause mild skin irritation.
