To care for a Lady Finger Cactus (Mammillaria elongata)-
Provide it with bright, full sunlight, water it sparingly only when the soil is completely dry, use a well-draining cactus potting mix, and avoid overwatering which can lead to root rot; ensure the pot has drainage holes, and during winter, minimize watering as the plant goes dormant; repot in the spring with fresh cactus soil if needed.
