PLANTING

Capsicum annuum

Germination: 10-14 days

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 75-85ºF. Cooler soil temperatures slow germination time.

Seed Sowing Depth: ¼” deep

Starting Indoors:  8-10 weeks before the last frost. Sow in flats/cells/pots. Provide 75-85ºF soil temperatures. Fertilize the seedlings every 7-10 days with a liquid or water-soluble fertilizer (diluted to ¼ of suggested measurement). Transplant seedlings 18-24” apart after the last frost.

Sowing Outdoors: Not recommended, especially in northern areas

How much does a packet plant: 20-25 foot single row

Harvest: Use a sharp instrument to cut the peppers from the plant. Pick the first fruits when they reach usable size, this helps accelerate the growth of the other peppers on the plant. Leave some peppers on the plant to mature so they can change color and sweeten up.

Tips: Pinch off early flowers or tiny fruit on any seedlings before placing them in the ground. The Birds Eye Chili Pepper should be planted in fertile soil and amended with compost if needed. It helps to use row cover early in the season, giving the plants extra warmth, especially in the north. Side dress when flowers begin to form.

Love this product
This product has been the best. A small amount goes a very long way. You don’t feel greasy after just moisturized. To me, it doesn’t really smell like anything. it’s not overpowering or noticeable after it’s rubbed in. I definitely will recommend and continue to buy.

I tan pretty easily. I tan outside during the summer time ...
I tan pretty easily. I tan outside during the summer time and the winter i go to a nearby tanning salon to keep my tan going. I dont know why certain people say that this product smes like coffee, but it does not smell like coffee to me. It smells like paradise on beach. like thr tropics. and I love the smell. I also love the fact that within 1 use of this , i got a darker deeper tan . took me to the next level. noticed a huge differrence in my tan. I love this tanning lotion. and as far as people saying that its too oily, well, it is oily, but that honestly doesnt bother me one bit. this is by far the best tanning lotion i have ever bought. if u want to get a good tan thats natural. this is the stuff to get.

Best lotion for sunburned skin
After a vacation in Hawaii, I thought I’d never get to have this lotion again. I saved the bottle from 15 years ago, just as a memory. On a whim, I looked on amazon and here is was!! The best after sun lotion ever!!! Sun burns don’t hurt on the second day. Keeps burned skin moist and flake free. Peeling is minimal if you use the lotion daily. I still use it, even though my summer tan has been established. Smells like my vacation all over again!
