Each packaged starter tree includes detailed step-by-step instructions, which lead through the whole germination and growing process, from cold-stratifying to transplanting. The tree seedlings also include thorough transplanting and care instructions, along with a basic overview of five prevalent bonsai styles. If your tree has perished despite your honest efforts, The Jonsteen Company will be happy to provide a free small-sized seedling replacement fresh from their nursery (you pay shipping/handling only - typically $5).

All of our trees are seed-grown without poison or pesticides at our nursery on California's Redwood Coast, which is inspected monthly and licensed by the California Department of Agriculture. Noticed the only negative reviews were because the hooks would not fit and was sort of concerned about that, but I figured it might be one of those things where it’s the person’s fault not the product. Sure enough it was. The hook fits, yea you have to push it in there with a slight bit of force, but it definitely does fit. What those people don’t realize is that by design the hooks are like that to keep a firm hold onto the tray itself. I found it funny how mad people were about that when really it’s very very simple to make it work. Nice product sticks well, seems sturdy.

Good product, lousy instructions

This is a good product with terrible instructions. I’ve used this adhesive strip before so I know how to install the basket & how to remove the strip. To get a snug fit position one of the basket's vertical wires in the middle of one of the horizontal bars then press down hard until you hear it snap into place, it’s now snug & will not tip over. To remove the adhesive strip I used a putty knife & wiggled it underneath the strip until I had loosened & lifted enough of it to get a good grip & pull the rest off. Mine is installed on a ceramic tile back splash not in the sink so this method did not damage the tile, can't say what it would do to stainless steel. I'm a 72 y/o woman with arthritis, if I can get the adhesive off anyone can.

Works well, but very difficult to remove!

Perspective: Ive had this caddy for 3 years and it has suited me well. Over time the hooks that hold the caddy in place loosened and the caddy would occasionally fall off the side of the sink wall. Not a huge deal, just a small inconvenience. Over time it started to happen more often because the plastic hooks completely lost their grip so I decided to replace it. Well it literally took me 3 days to get it off of the side of my sink. Using different tools to jimmy it off because the adhesive is sooo strong (which is a good thing, until you are looking to remove it). It took a razor blade and several bouts of goo gone to get the whole thing off as well as the leftover adhesive. The fact that it lasted for 3 years is a testament that it is a good product, but it lost several stars for the drama and pain and suffering it took to remove. I wont be buying another one.
