The tuber was much larger and shaped differently from other Colocasia esculenta forms we had grown, although the medium green leaves are similar. For us, the plants easily reached 7' tall, even in a fairly dry area of the garden. We are pretty sure this is a triploid form, which should increase winter hardiness. Remember, rich organic soils that are moist during the growing season result in the best growth. Despite the lack of calories, we hope you'll enjoy supersizing your garden!
