Just like other succulents, the key to having any jade thrive in your care is to place it in bright light and to water when the soil is completely dry. Crassula ovata is a shrub, so it can grow into a quite sizable statement plant in just a few years!
Jades contain insoluble calcium oxalates, making them not pet safe. These crystals can cause GI irritation. Reptiles, on the other hand, can tolerate these crystals and jades are safe to include in arid reptile enclosures like those for uromastyx, leopard geckos, and bearded dragons!
Plants will ship bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot.
