The author goes step by step addressing the signs (weather, shorter days, etc.) that take us to Dec. 25th. This is a "family tradition book" that you'll want to keep and bring out each year after Thanksgiving. Set this book on the coffee table in the living room so that everyone can enjoy it. It begins with changes of the weather and includes cutting paper snowflakes, hanging colored lights, elves and Santa Claus in stores, looking for a Christmas tree, holiday concerts, making and wrapping gifts, and various other activities. When I found out that 4 of his books, including Reading Can be Fun, were still available I hunted them down.
