'Black Midnight' Bush Beans: Bold, Dark Beauty

'Black Midnight' Bush Beans bring a dramatic, deep-black hue to your garden and a rich, full flavor to your kitchen. These heirloom beans are known for their compact growth, high yield, and versatility in various dishes, making them a must-have for home gardeners and bean enthusiasts alike.

Key Features:

  • Striking Black Beans: The 'Black Midnight' variety produces dark black beans that offer a beautiful contrast to typical green garden produce. They are as visually striking as they are delicious, adding uniqueness to your harvest.
  • Rich Flavor: 'Black Midnight' beans have a deep, earthy flavor that works well in soups, stews, salads, and side dishes. They maintain their rich flavor even after cooking, offering a hearty addition to any meal.
  • Crisp Texture: When harvested young, these beans are crisp with a tender bite. They can be enjoyed fresh, cooked, or dried for long-term storage without losing their satisfying texture.
  • High Yield and Easy to Grow: 'Black Midnight' Bush Beans are high-yielding and provide an abundance of beans throughout the season. The plants are compact, making them great for smaller spaces like raised beds or container gardening.
  • Heirloom Variety: As an heirloom, 'Black Midnight' carries the heritage of generations of gardeners who have grown and loved these reliable and flavorful beans.

Optimal Growing Conditions:

To achieve the best results with 'Black Midnight' Bush Beans, it's important to meet their basic growing needs:

  • Location: Plant in a sunny spot that receives at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day. The plants prefer warmth and thrive in well-drained soil.
  • Soil: Ensure that the soil is rich in organic matter and drains well. Loamy, slightly acidic to neutral soil is ideal for these beans.
  • Planting: Direct sow the seeds outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Plant seeds 1 inch deep and space them about 2-4 inches apart in rows that are 18-24 inches apart. They germinate quickly in warm soil.
  • Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry periods. Water deeply once or twice a week to ensure proper hydration during flowering and pod development.
  • Harvesting: 'Black Midnight' Bush Beans are ready for harvest in 55-60 days. Pick them when the pods are full and firm but before they dry out on the plant. For fresh eating, harvest the pods when young and tender.

Grow the bold and beautiful 'Black Midnight' Bush Beans in your garden for a unique and flavorful harvest. Order your seeds today to enjoy this standout heirloom variety!

Faulty Trigger
This was the 3rd of 4 B & D Weed Trimmer's I have purchased in the past 4 months. My first B & D Weed Trimmer was purchased 3 years ago. The Trigger finally gave out. Every B & D Weed Trimmer has had a faulty trigger. They give out just past the 30 day return window - trying to get B & D to cover it on their warranty website is ridiculous! No one at Amazon knows anything either. So you either buy another or go to Ryobi...because you cant find any decent replacement blades for it either.

Quick, powerful, and easy to use
Style: 2 x 2.0Ah
When my wife and I bought our latest home, I got bitten by the battery-powered lawn equipment bug. Because our lawn is a lot smaller and flatter than our last home, I refrained from having landscapers regularly maintain this new lawn. This means I now have every piece of equipment one could possibly want to keep our yard looking beautiful Before purchasing this last item for our lawn, I was using a weed whacker to do the edging. This was tedious and not very precise. Because I have all Greenworks-branded equipment, this edger was a no-brainer. Even though most of our battery-operated lawn equipment uses 60v batteries, I opted for this smaller dual-battery setup to save a little weight and money. Because of the small battery sizes, the edger is perfectly balanced and not one bit unwieldy. I am able to quickly clear all of our sidewalk, lanai, and driveway surface edges within minutes. Up to this point, I had never used an edger before. It literally took less than 30 seconds to get it buzzing correctly along the surface edges of our property. If not trying to do a large commercial area, this edger will probably work for most residential applications. Quickly and easily.

It's a beast and you can add attachments to, like a brush cutter head.
Style: 16" (2 x 4Ah)
This thing is a beast of a battery powered machine. I wouldn't put it completely up against my gas. It is much better than the Greenworks 24V 13-Inch Brushless String Trimmer (Gen 2), 4.0Ah USB Battery and Charger Included that I had purchased this time last year. I have several gas so I only really needed a light duty one to do the fence line and around the house. The main issue with the 13 inch was that the auto feed bump mechanism was worthless. It also uses very thin lines so very quickly you go from 13 inches to 6 to 8. and the bump feed does not work even with greenworks replacement spools. You get twice the batteries and a dual rapid charger for $50 more. You couldn't even buy the battery for that much. onto this thing. Love the dual string heavy-duty string mechanism. Love the fact that you can remove the trimmer head and add an attachment. I have attachments from my gas Trimmers and they work perfectly. My brush head attachment utterly devastated thick bramble from an overgrown lot. The best part is it took me two hours to get my stored gas trimmers to run properly which I don't have to do with a battery operated device. No gas flying that deteriorated or primer bubbles that have burst followed spark plugs Stale gas . Just throw the batteries on and you're off. Nothing long-term to report, only had it a week. Used it enough to run down completely six sets of batteries.
