These D-Shape Moss Poles provide adequate support and encourage plants to develop larger, more mature leaves. Additionally, the poles can be filled with various substrates other than our Sphagnum Moss, try them with soil blends, bark or even tree fern fiber.

Made from high quality, foldable, recyclable plastic and shaped like a D to support climbing plants effectively. They feature honeycomb or hexagon-shaped cutouts, enabling aerial roots to penetrate and anchor into moss or other fillings within the pole.

It's essential to water the substrate from the top to maintain moisture in the moss. The honeycomb structure enhances airflow and offers ample space for aerial root growth. Adjustable tabs accommodate different pot sizes.

These poles are constructed from recyclable plastic and are available in black or a frosted finish.

Moss Pole Tips
A 5L bag of our Sphagnum Moss will fill 2x Medium poles, 2x Small poles and 2x Mini poles. This does depend what adjustments you set the Small and Medium poles to, and how much you pack the poles with moss. The thinest width will allow for the moss to go further.

To ensure the moss pole is secured and stable, make sure you insert the base of the pole a few inches into the soil, allowing the soil to hug the pole into place.

If you tend to over water your plants and you don't want the moss in the pole to be submerged within the soil or hydroponic substrate, we recommend leaving a few inches of space at the bottom of the pole and then insert the substrate that the chosen plant will be potted into. You can even replace the bottom few inches of the pole with Clay Pebbles, or any aerating component of your choice.

A great way to rehydrate your Sphagnum Moss within the pole, is to recycle an empty water bottle and poke a tiny hole in the cap and fill it with water, (and fertilise if you're feeling fancy). Place the bottle upside down into the top of the moss pole, and let the water trickle down and slowly hydrate the moss.

Good product.
I will probably give this product a better review when I use it in the spring. I have used it before and gave it 5 stars. Will have to see how it performs on prepping the surface of my motor home since I have "waxed" it with Poly Glo.

This will work but prep is key!
I have an older RV that the gelcoat has dulled and is oxidized, but otherwise in good shape. I have buffed and polished in the past only for it to last a short time. I was looking up different products to try and this one has such good reviews, I thought I would give it a try. I bought the kit with the Poliglow and the Poliprep, with the scrubber and the microfiber glove. I started with the poliprep and it did a great job of gettting the streaks and black marks off. You spend a lot of time scrubbing to your likeness because anything that is still on the gelcoat when you apply the poliglow, it will be locked in there. The Poliglow is like a clearcoat that goes over the gelcoat. You have to build up layers and here are some of the tips and tricks I figured out that really helped my finished RV look great. First, make sure the applicator stays damp, this keeps the poliglow more uniform across the glove. Also, stick it in a zip lock bag when not using, you do not want it to dry out while you are using it. I found out that applying this in direct sunlight in warm temps, is the best method. This allows the poliglow to dry really fast. The first 3 or 4 layers will look streaky and dull but this is ok and as you build up the layers, the shine will come back. I found if you do this when its cooler, the layers do not dry as quick and you will get some permanent streaking or running. I had to remove a section I did in the evening because I noticed this. When in direct sunlight, this gave me the best results with no streaking or running. It dries fast and you can keep working. Like it says, do not do big sections at a time, keep it to small what you can reach sections and build those up and move on. As far as how much to buy? I have a 40 ft toy hauler and I got to kits and I had just enough to finish the whole thing minus the nose cap. I have Durabak on the nose cap, so I dont need to worry about that. I ended up buying one more bottle of the poliglow to have for my maintenance coats. Overall, I am pleased with how my 10 year old RV looks and other than some of the decals show age, it looks new again. If I were to buy a new RV, I would put this on right away and preserve the whole RV including the decals. Its not too expensive and its a lot of work, especially the prep, but it does end up with great results.

Excellent shine
Excellent line of products. Looking at the picture, you can see what the camper looked like before the Poli Glow. To the left of the window is the after Poli Glow. It takes some elbow grease (follow instructions well) but well worth it.

One bottle covered my 20ft camping trailer 4 coats and with a little remaining for future touch ups. It definitely increases the gloss. I'm glad I didn't waste my time with wax. This is like an easy wipe on clear coat. I will report back in the future for longevity.
