Water requirements Calathea Compactstar - 80cm
It is best to keep the potting soil of the Calathea Compactstar slightly moist, but be careful not to overwater the plant. Too much water can accumulate at the bottom of the pot near the roots, which can lead to root rot. That's why we recommend checking carefully before each watering to see if the soil is still moist from the previous time. Is that the case? Then wait a while before watering.
It is also a good idea to regularly spray the leaves with a water sprayer. This way, you keep the humidity around the plant high.

The Calathea Compactstar originates from the tropics of South America, where it grows in the shade of large trees, especially in the Amazon region.
