Epipremnum aureum 'Neon', commonly known as the Neon Pothos, is a popular and easy-to-grow indoor vine known for its vibrant, chartreuse-green foliage. Unlike other Pothos varieties, which tend to have variegated or darker green leaves, the ‘Neon’ cultivar has solid, bright green, almost fluorescent leaves that give it a striking appearance. Its heart-shaped leaves emerge along vining stems that can trail or climb when given support, making it versatile for hanging baskets, shelves, or trellises.

‘Neon’ Pothos is exceptionally hardy and adaptable, tolerating a variety of indoor conditions from low to bright light. Its tolerance for variable lighting and drought-resistance make it an excellent choice for beginners or anyone looking for a low-maintenance, high-impact indoor plant.

Native to
Epipremnum aureum is native to the tropical rainforests of French Polynesia, where it grows as an understory plant, climbing trees or trailing along the forest floor in shaded, humid environments. This cultivated variety maintains similar adaptability to indoor conditions, thriving in filtered light with moderate moisture.

Water
Water Epipremnum aureum 'Neon' when the top 2–3 cm of soil have dried out. It is moderately drought-tolerant, so avoid overwatering as this can lead to root rot. During the growing season, regular watering is beneficial, while in winter, it’s best to let the soil dry out a bit more between waterings.

Light
This plant does best in bright, indirect light, which enhances its vibrant colour. It can also adapt to moderate to low light, although the foliage may become a darker shade of green in lower light settings. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, as this can lead to leaf burn.

Humidity
Epipremnum aureum 'Neon' tolerates typical indoor humidity levels but will benefit from moderate humidity, ideally around 40% to 60%. In particularly dry conditions, especially in winter, using a humidifier can help keep the foliage healthy and vibrant.

Temperature
This plant thrives in typical indoor temperatures ranging from 18°C to 26°C. It does not tolerate cold well and should be kept away from temperatures below 12°C. Avoid placing it in drafty areas or near heat sources, as stable, warm temperatures are ideal for healthy growth.

A Book For Audio
Format: Audiobook
The Art of Storytelling from Parents to Professionals is the first book that I can be confident in saying is better as an audio version than it would be in a paper or Kindle form because you can here the verbal inflections and the storytellers can change character, voice much easier than the printed word might. It also captures the listeners attention as the author herself can connect in a lot more personal and intimate way. My concern is while I can understand what the author is getting at, I am not aspiring to be an oral performance style storyteller and there was not enough of a reach out from the world of oral storytelling to the written story. I mean how many of us are going to get up on stage and tell stories? I guess you can take the skills from one realm and use them elsewhere, but the connection may not be made so easily. This was an audiobook that I had a lot of fun with, even if I didn’t quite get what I was hoping for from it.

Great Overview of the Art of Storytelling
Format: Audiobook
I chanced on this as an Audible "freebie" to keep on the list for when I was out of credits. Well, it's excellent, and well worth the listen. And excellent survey of the topic spanning topics of performance (preparing, voice, body language, projection), various aspects of framing (culture, age, ethnicity, audience size), story structure and so on This point is for Hannah B. Harvey, if perchance she reads tese reviews. One point of modern storytelling and writing that is not brought out in your lectures, is that some of the best villain/antagonists are actually the heroes/protagonists of their own stories. This is tangentially alluded to in talking about story viewpoints, but not to the extent that it can be an entirely new story, as Wicked and Maleificent turned The Wizard of Oz and Sleeping Beauty on their heads. And even in the 1960's, many a Bond 007 villain was trying to create what they imagined to be a better world. It's useful to consider in storytelling, as far too many people have forgotten/fail to see the fundamental moral ambiguities of life, and I suspect that goes a long way to explaining the extreme partisanship we see in the world today.

Sadly, I found the tips and the examples in this lecture to be very simplistic and uninspiring.
Format: Audiobook
I expected a professional storyteller to be able to keep my interest but I found the presentation to be quite boring. I got nothing out of it that I didn’t already know from just being an avid reader. It felt like a high school lecture. Sigh!!

Great course on how to improve your storytelling abilities
Format: Audiobook
Storytelling is a great way to get a point across, and most of us digest information through stories. But when it comes time to tell a story, most of us don't have the skills to make the story engaging or impactful. That's where this course on storytelling comes in. You'll get good pointers on vocabulary, body language, tone, along with deeper pointers about how to shape the view of the story and how to refine its characters. It's all very detailed but it's all very interesting and well worth it. This course will help you see how useful storytelling can be in your personal and professional life, especially if you're in a field where you have to do a lot of public speaking.
