It features slender, cylindrical stems that branch out into dense, bushy clusters. It is completely thornless and soft to the touch.
  
  The most unique trait of the Coral Cactus is its geometric growth habit. It exhibits "acrotonical branching," meaning the sap flows primarily to the tips, causing it to explode into a bushy, "fractal" mess of stems.
  
  Unlike the massive, showy blooms of other cacti, the Coral Cactus produces tiny, delicate, star-shaped white to creamy-pink flowers at the tips of its stems. When successful, these are followed by small, translucent white berries that look like mistletoe.
