The is a package of 2.5 pounds ( 12-20 bulbs) Resurrection Lilies (also known as Naked Lady, Hurricane Lily, Magic Lily, Flamingo Lily, or Surprise Lily) bulbs.
THIS PLANT HAS STRAP-SHAPED DARK GREEN LEAVES THAT FORM GOOD-LOOKING, FOUNTAINLIKE CLUMPS ABOUT ONE FOOT HIGH. THE FOLIAGE DIES DOWN AND DISAPPEARS IN LATE SPRING TO EARLY SUMMER.
THE FLOWER STALK APPEARS LIKE MAGIC ABOUT 6 WEEKS LATER. EACH STALK BEARS A CLUSTER OF 4 TO 12 ROSY PINK, TRUMPET SHAPED,HIGHLY FRAGRANT BLOSSOMS.
PLANT BULBS IN THE SPRING, SUMMER OR FALL. PLACE AT LEAST 6 INCHES APART SO THEY HAVE ROOM TO SPREAD. WHERE WINTER TEMPS REMAIN ABOVE 15 KEEP TOPS OF THE BULB NECK AT OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE SOIL LINE. IN COLDER AREAS, IT IS BEST TO PLANT THE NECKS 1 INCH BELOW SOIL LINE AND CHOOSE A AREA WITH FULL SUN TO LIGHT SHADE.
ESTABLISHED PLANTS ARE TOLERANT OF DROUGHT. THEY PREFORM BEST IF THEY RECEIVE REGULAR MOISTURE UNTIL LEAVES START TO DIE DOWN. WELL DRAINING SOIL IS BEST AS THIS BULB NEEDS NO WATER DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.
USDA Hardiness Zones 3-8.
The package contains bare root bulbs and is ideal for gardeners looking to add a clumping, flowering plant to their outdoor space.
