Nemophila is easiest to direct sow in very early spring, sow on the surface of your garden bed and lightly dust with screened peat or compost. You can not germinate these in hot spring or summer weather.

You can also start these in pots by sowing on the surface of your potting material and dusting with fine sand or vermiculite as they need light to germinate. Once developed transplant after your last frost in spring.
