Preparation

The majority of the components are assembled however you will need to attach the hose.

• Always ensure all fittings are tight prior to use
• Test sprayer by filling with water pressurising and performing a test spray and ensure there are no leaks
• Always ensure surface to be sprayed is clean and clear of dirt debris and contaminates

Application

Before using the sprayer always test the product on a small area to ensure colour and adhesion. Colours can vary dependant on surface to be treated.

• For best results stand with the sprayer nozzle approximately 30cm (12") from the fence panel and spray one panel at a time
• Start by spraying the edges and any vertical struts before spraying the centre of the fence panel
• Using a slow, sweeping motion, spray horizontally across the panel, turning at the end and overlapping approximately half of the previous pass each time
• Take care not to spray too quickly as this may result in an uneven finish
• Similarly, spraying too slowly will result in excess product being applied causing runs
• Please be aware that coverage may be less on weathered or absorbent wood
• Avoid spraying in windy or damp conditions to get the best results
• Any overspray should be cleaned up immediately
• For a strong colour change more coats may be needed
• If using more than one tin it’s advisable to mix together in a large container or finish in a corner before starting a new can to ensure consistency in colour

Aftercare & Storage

Check all component parts are free of excessive wear and tear, worn parts must not be used.

Check for damage to unit and attachments, if damaged do not use.
