Our Houseplant Potting Mix is a sustainable, peat free compost with a specialist blend of coir and wood fibre for airflow and drainage. It is an easy to use compost with a fine and free flowing texture.

How to use: Get ready to grow! The first step is finding a pot, choose one that is slightly larger with good drainage holes. Place a layer of potting mix in the base of your new pot. For best result, add a layer of Westland Hydroleca before the potting mix. Hydroleca is great at absorbing excess water, keeping plant roots dry. Remove the plant from its current pot. Turn the plant sideways and gently hold by the stems or leaves. Tap the bottom of the pot until the plant slides out. Place the plant into its new pot, ensuring the root ball is slightly below the rim of the new pot. Fill the pot with potting mix and water well. You can top with a layer of hydroleca for a beautiful finish.
