ProForce Monterey Surfactant containing the active ingredients 350g/L Soyal Phospholipids and 350g/L Propionic Acid is a unique, multi-purpose surfactant solution which enhances performance of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and plant growth regulators. ProForce Monterey Surfactant also acidifies the spray tank solution, reducing losses due to alkaline hydrolysis and also assists with the uptake of weak acid herbicides.

ProForce Monterey Surfactant also assists in droplet size management to partially reduce the number of fine droplets produced from hydraulic nozzles by air and ground spray equipment.

Key Features:

  • Aquatically approved. Can be used for weed control in aquatic situations. Very effective when used in combination with Glyphosate (Rapid Fire), Flumioxazin, Diquat, Amitrole and other aquatically approved herbicides.
  • Non-ionic surfactant. Doesn’t have negative reactions with pesticide chemistry.
  • Derived from natural materials – soybean oils.  
  • Acidification solution. Acidifies the spray solution to reduce spray tank issues caused by alkaline hydrolysis and enhances uptake of weak acid herbicides.
  • Droplet management tool. Assistance in droplet size management to partially reduce the number of fine droplets produced from hydraulic nozzles by air and ground applied spray equipment.

An excellent home printer. And why did I purchase such? I had an Epson WF-520 for nearly ten years. But neglect and lack of use caused the printer head to get gunked up. I cleaned the print heads using a solution of 95% Etoh and glass cleaner (about fifty/fifty), a syringe with a plastic tube attached and LOTS of paper towel strips. It was moderately successful but I was never able to get it back to like new printing. I looked over several new printers and wanted to stay with Epson because of ease of use (copy, scanning, printing). Seems as tank printers are the way to go these days. So I ordered the ET-4800. Got here in only a couple of days. Setup was pretty easy, just follow the instructions either via the documentation included or online version. I have pinted and scanned a color test page. I used the built in SmartScan feature without having to think about it much. I am quite satisfied with the results. By the way, there is no automatic two side printing. You actually have to get off your b---, take out the first printing, turn it over and refeed the stack. I was used to doing that with the old WF-520 and never had a problem. I will now set up a once a week, automatic scheduled printing task. I will just have to make sure there is paper on hand. Lack of use is the killer of these inkjet machines regardless of manufacturer.

Printer worked great until it didn’t. Cleared a paper jam that kept giving an issue. Then it gave a scanner error, after paper jam was resolved. I called support; they gathered all my info. Transferred me to someone else who then told me she’d email me some numbers to call for deals on refurbished printers or onsite support. I ended ups solving the problem… I threw the printer in the trash, and will likely not buy anymore epson products. I was willing to pay for service but not waste more time and making more phone calls. I had a credit card; i was willing to use it.
