Caring for Gardenia jasminoides requires attention to ensure abundant blooming and the plant’s health:

Light: Prefers bright places, but sheltered from strong sunlight. Filtered light is ideal.

Pruning: Pruning is done after the plant has flowered, to remove faded flowers and encourage new growth. It is important not to cut the new shoots, where next year’s flowers will form.
