It blooms twice per season (late spring and again in fall, in areas with a moderately long growing season), has superb fragrance and eye catching, strongly bi colored flowering spikes with a lax, informal habit. Bred in Oregon, 'Buena Vista's' attractive elongated flower spikes have very dark blue calyxes and lighter blue

18-24" tall x 18" wide (cutting propagated). Lavandula angustifolia 'Buena Vista' (English Lavender) is a very special cultivar. It blooms twice per season (late spring and again in fall, in areas with a moderately long growing season), has superb fragrance and eye-catching, strongly bi-colored flowering spikes with a lax, informal habit. Bred in Oregon, 'Buena Vista's' attractive elongated flower spikes have very dark blue calyxes and lighter blue corollas (flowers) that are very different from more compactly flowered English lavenders like 'Hidcote Superior'. When promptly deadheaded by mid-summer, 'Buena Vista' will re-bloom in early fall. This is a distinctive and highly desirable cultivar not often available to the gardening public.

Maybe I have a SUPER aggressive chewer...he went through this ball in under a week. I originally bought the ball because of a review that stated the owner's Pitbull had the same ball for two years; not so much for my Rottweiler. He started chewing off and swallowing small crumbs from the ball within a day or two. By the end of the week, it was chunks so I had to toss it in the trash to prevent an intestinal obstruction. On the up side, my Rottweiler LOVED the ball while it lasted. However, I can't, in good conscience, give this ball a rave review based on this experience. Please take this review with a grain of salt as I have yet to find ANY toy that my boy won't DESTROY in a week or two. I hope that someone finds this informative when searching for chew toys for SUPER aggressive chewers like mine.

I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers!
