If you’re looking for a giant, Philodendron giganteum delivers. True to its name, it can produce massive, paddle-shaped leaves that stretch over 3 feet in ideal conditions. Native to the Caribbean and parts of South America, it brings an instant jungle vibe to any space.

Though it looks wild, it’s relatively easygoing and perfect for making a big statement indoors or in greenhouses.

Our giganteum plants are grown from tissue culture and acclimated for three months to ensure they’re ready to thrive.

Care Tips:

  • Light: Bright, indirect to medium light.

  • Humidity: Tolerant but thrives at 50% or more.

  • Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry.

  • Support: Can climb but also thrives as a self-header.

  • Soil: Use our Tropical Green Aroid Mix for the balance needed to support such large, thirsty foliage.

Only flaw is I wish it were thicker. 9/10. -Dark Chocolate: has that classic slightly bittersweet dark countenance. You can almost taste a pleasant burnt cocoa bean flavor. Only flaw is that it is a bit too thick. 8/10. -Chocolate Caramel: not a perfect 50/50 blend, tastes more like a 70/30 blend in favor of caramel. Consistency is perfect, just the right thickness. 7/10. -White Chocolate: doesn't taste like WC whatsoever. It tastes like sickly sweet birthday cake icing in liquid form. Worst of all it is runny with no thcikness. 4/10.
